  1. Oh yum! I'll have to make some scones, your lovely jelly (and gorgeous photos) are making me hungry for tea.

  2. We're going to be doing hedgerow jam this weekend, which is elderberries, brambles and bramleys - saves me doing the straining! Apparently elderberries are very high in vitamin C, so it is very good for you as well as tasting nice.

  4. Anne - thanks, keep a scone for me!

Pomona - good luck with the jam, I quite like all the drippy-drippy bit with jelly.

Carolyn - I was actually thinking of you when I looked at the lovely colour the jelly bag came out after the elderberry 'dyeing'. Kettle's on, come on over!

  8. These jellies look so wonderful, I so wish I had some. I want a hedgerow too - my husband is looking into how to create one for us. I love that you have berries waiting there for you!

And, I must say, I love the purple left behind the berries. I would love to dye some yarn with it and make a royal scarf!

Hugs across the pond to you Chrissie!
