Spring is in the air today - the sky is blue, the sun is shining, the bees are buzzing ............. so it must be time for me to jump into my dungarees and shut myself in a dark corner of the house and paint the walls!
(p.s. my stylist had the day off, as you can see)

Chrissie,
I hate the thought of painting and decorating but we have to do our dining room soon. I don't see how I can now unless I get myself a pair of dungarees. They are obviously the 'must have' accessory for the job. I shall have to tell my husband that I can't possibly help him without a pair... wonder if it will work? Fab photos, especially the forsythia. That yellow is so golden. It just sings out. Lesley x
I don't know about the stylist but it looks like you've disappeared ... inside your dungarees. And don't think I didn't notice a distinct lack of paint on that brush! Your photos, as always, are a positive delight. Wasn't it a perfect day? My boy and I went for a walk over the fields with a picnic - bliss.

Enjoyed your blog, which I have looked at before, but spotted, via Lesley at Printed Material that you were a fellow Bedfordshirian - always interesting to share the weather and spotting swifts!

I'll tell you a secret, I like dungarees and I sometimes have an urge to wear them. Instead I live vicariously and my toddler wears them regularly. Are those Liberty dungarees or are my eyes going funny?
That blossom shot with the bee labelled gave me a huge smile.
LOVE LOVE LOVE those dungarees!! I need a pair of those. Why don't you paint the outside of the house???

The photo annotated with "a bee" made me roar with laughter. I wore dungarees for years and years, till well into my forties..... I loved the things....... still do, but am at an age where I wouldn't get away with them.... dammit!
