Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry that I haven't been here lately.   We've had some bad news about the health of two close relatives and have been concentrating on that for now.    Hope to be back blogging again in the New Year.

Also (and I know not remotely in the same league) a fox stole our little Hilda Hen and thereby removed a simple source of joy from our lives.   Poor little Hilda who did no-one any harm and laid us lovely wee brown eggs nearly every day.

But I wish you all a very joyful Christmas and hope that 2011 is a happy and peaceful year for you.    Thank you all for your friendship, your comments and kindness.

Chrissie,
Hope all goes well with you and yours. It's always a worry when people close to us are not well but this time of year brings it into sharp focus and makes you realise people matter more than other things. Have a great Christmas and come back refreshed in the New Year.Keep the faith. Lesley xx

Sorry about your relations health problems and do hope that they will both be well again soon. Sorry too about your little hen - so sad. I think this time of year it is especially difficult when there are sad things going on in one's life and it seems everyone else is so full of joy and laughter but I hope you will find peace and joy again soon and hope your Christmas is good too.

All our love, Chrissie. So sorry about Hilda and your family news - thinking of you all. Lurve the robin photo - the garden birds have been a joy to watch over Christmas, the colours show up so well against the snow. Wishing you and Dickie all the best for 2011 - Happy New Year!

I do hope things are improving, this time of year is always challenging, especially if relatives are elderly too. Losing Hilda must have seemed like an added blow, best wishes for a refreshed new year.
